Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026.

We take your privacy seriously. This page explains, in plain language, what data we collect when you use Precizna, why we collect it, and what rights you have.

What we collect

To provide the service, we collect and store:

  • Account information — your email address and password (the password is stored only in cryptographically protected form, never in plain text).
  • Farm and parcel data — farm names, parcel boundaries, cadastral identifiers, and the seasons and operations you record in the app.
  • Satellite data — NDVI imagery and other vegetation indices that we fetch on your request for the parcels you've defined, plus derived productivity zones and variable-rate maps.
  • Technical security data — your IP address and basic device information (User-Agent) recorded only at sign-in, registration, and password change, used to detect account abuse.

Why we collect it

  • Account information is used so you can sign in and access the app.
  • Farm, parcel, and satellite data are used solely to provide the features you expect — viewing imagery, generating zones and prescriptions, and exporting maps to your machinery.
  • Technical security data is used to protect your account.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for marketing.

Cookies and essential storage

We use only essential cookies — one to keep you signed in, and one to remember your language preference. We do not use analytics or marketing cookies.

The mobile app stores sign-in information on your device using the secure storage provided by your operating system.

Who handles your data

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to deliver the service — for sending emails (verification, password reset) and for hosting the application. These providers process data on our behalf only, under standard data-processing agreements. We do not share data with third parties for marketing.

How long we keep your data

We keep data only as long as needed to provide the service:

  • Active account — kept until you delete it.
  • Deleted account — removed from the database immediately; backups roll off shortly after, at which point your data is fully removed.
  • Sign-in security records — kept for a limited period, only to detect account abuse.

Your rights

You can at any time:

  • access your data and receive a copy;
  • correct inaccurate data;
  • delete your account (see Account deletion);
  • restrict processing or object;
  • transfer your data to another provider.

Send requests to privacy@precizna.com from your registered email address. We respond within a reasonable time.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
